AI. Everyone's favorite buzzword. While still a relatively new invention in terms of testing and competition in the market, AI has already started to shape the way work is done and productivity is measured. But with so much changing all of the time, how does one go about deciding how to use AI in their daily life? I submit ten easy ways that you can implement AI in your work life, starting right now.
Take Notes
There are few things worse than being the assigned note-taker during a meeting. Not only do you need to pay attention during the meeting, and contribute during the correct times, but you are also expected to take detailed notes for those who are not there. Using AI to either transcribe the entire meeting for you or to take notes and format them into easy-to-understand sections will save you a lot of time. This will free you up to be able to be a more proactive member of the meeting, and get more work done.

Schedule Meetings
Trying to schedule a meeting, especially with a lot of people invited, can be tricky. Take advantage of the AI bots that check everyone's calendar at the same time, and then recommend the best time for the meeting based on everyone's availability. This will not only save you a lot of time, but will also allow you to dedicate time towards what is most important to you, preparing for the meeting.
Spellcheck
This AI method is quickly becoming a public favorite. While spellcheck in the past has been able to check a word or two, or maybe even a phrase, AI tools like Grammarly are becoming more widespread, and are able to not only do everything a normal spellchecker can, but can also recommend different ways of writing a sentence based on the intended audience. This can really save you, so instead of accidentally leaving in the slang you use in everyday texts when sending a message to your boss, the AI can catch it and automatically recommend a different phrasing to make sure you sound as competent as possible.
Brainstorming
Trying to work on an important document but do not know where to start? Let AI help. Different tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft CoPilot are really helpful at taking a prompt, and giving you the product in a few seconds. While it is not recommended that you simply use AI without a proper factcheck, AI can give you a lot of great ideas, that you can then use in your final product. You can use it to generate ideas of what to write, help you with the format, and a wide range of other options.

Edit Video Clips
Trying to watch an entire, hours-long video, and pull out only the most important moments can be challenging. This is where tools like Opus Clips comes in. The AI can take the entire video, and then clip certain moments of the video it deems the most important. This saves you a bunch of time, and allows you to start thinking of the best way to go about marketing these clips. Opus Tools does not stop at being a one size fits all AI tool though, and it allows you to customize it to only grab clips that are 30 seconds long, all the way up to 5 minutes. It can also be set to only grab clips from a certain part of the video if you know roughly where the clip you want is.
